Finally finished my reduction linocut, “The Cross After Death.” 20 colors. Ruthwell-inspired cross on a hill, runes in the sky. The runes are from The Dream of the Rood, inscribed on the Ruthwell cross.

Celebrating 1 year since I started calligraphy!

An early project: a simple, unplanned exercise, done with calligraphy markers. Clearly I was invested in the lettering and not the content, since “britly” is no word that I know of…
